Course Description:
Ever wish you could dive deeper into what makes children tick, how they grow and move, and how to make teaching them to ski and ride even more fun? If you are a children’s instructor, or interested in learning more about teaching children, then Children’s Spring Rally is your chance to spend two days on snow sliding and learning with a member of the Advanced Children’s Education Team! Over the course of the weekend, we will focus on how to connect with students of different ages and stages, we will explore the creative side of teaching and how to craft engaging, playful, exploratory kid’s lessons, and we will practice using technical fundamentals to develop movement analysis skills and improve personal performance.
This is a multidisciplinary course with the possibility of alpine, snowboard, and telemark participants in the same group. If it’s children’s content you’re looking for, get ready to fill your pockets with skill-building activities to inspire learning and fun!
